Program Services Specialist Job Description
Reports to: Risk Manager, TeamMates Mentoring Program Location: TeamMates Central Office, La Vista, NE
Basic Function and Responsibility: Provide local program communication and consistency in a contributory capacity through administrative, technical and program support work.
Qualifications: Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience in business, education, public administration, or related field.
• Must have passion for youth, education and community
• Experience in implementing policy and procedure.

- Technical skills with the computer including Microsoft Office, video conferencing and e-mail;

- Ability to work collaboratively with TeamMates staff and leadership in local chapters;

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with Risk Manager, Program Team and Central Office employees to provide support to TeamMates programs.
- Represent TeamMates throughout the entire program;
- Provide support to local programs and Regional coordinators;
- Respond and resolve Chapter support needs via e-mail and by phone and route Chapters to appropriate resources;
- Communicate critical details to local program leadership when necessary;
- Provide screening and overall technical support regarding database management and upkeep, ensuring accuracy of data entry
- Process volunteer applications including mentors, board members, program coordinators and all other volunteers;
- Complete high-quality reference checks via e-mail and by telephone;
- Process background checks through One Source Background Check Company;
- Work collaboratively with TeamMates programs to facilitate renewal background checks
- Work effectively with the team to provide efficient, effective work practices and processes for all programs;
- Assist with implementation and closure of local programs;
- Other administrative duties as assigned.
Working Conditions: Ability to work at computer 8 hours per day at our La Vista TeamMates office location with some overtime.
