More than 1,000 guests filled the Holland Performing Arts Center on Sunday, Oct. 26, as the TeamMates Mentoring Program hosted its annual TeamMates Celebration.
The program featured entertainment from award-winning actor and comedian Bill Murray, along with musical performances by world-renowned bassist Nathan East, his son Noah East, and Grammy-winning drummer Gregg Field. Actress Melissa Peterman served as emcee, and honorary chairs Jim and Shirley Armitage were also in attendance.
Throughout the night, the spotlight turned to the heart of the organization: its mentors and mentees. Testimonials from three TeamMates matches highlighted the powerful relationships formed through the program and the lasting influence of encouragement and support.
Celebrity guests also participated in interviews, offering reflections on mentorship and the shared commitment to uplifting students.
“The TeamMates Celebration was a success not only for the organization, but for everyone who is proud to be associated with TeamMates Mentoring,” said TeamMates Chief Executive Officer DeMoine Adams.
