Alex started with the TeamMates Mentoring Program in Blair, NE as a 6th grader with her mentor, Kay. They continued to meet once a week until Alex graduated from high school. Alex received a TeamMates National Office Scholarship and graduated from the University of Nebraska-Omaha in 2022 with Kay by her side as her TeamMates+ Post-Secondary mentor.
